Day 1b

I just finished the second time through of Day 1 on Couch to 5k. If you didn't read my last post, I am doing couch to 5k but in double the amount of time. So that means on Saturday I'll be doing Day 2 for the first time.

I am embarrased by my numbers/speed, but happy that I completed Day 1 twice. I decided that when it is time to jog, I need to jog no matter how slow it is. So, I do the walking portion at 2.7mph and the jogging portion at 3.7mph. I tried 4mph and couldn't make it the full minute. Today I went 1.44 miles in a 30 minute workout. I cheated a little and ran at 5mph for about 20 seconds just for fun. LOL!

  1. Way to go!!! You're amazing Spunky! Keep up the great work! Don't be embarrassed by your speed. If I remember correctly, my starting jog speed was 3.2 or 3.4. You have to start somewhere and 3.7 is not bad at all! I love you!

  2. My Workout today was cleaning house. Ugh... so much cleaning. It wears you out. :(
