Tips for Tuesday: Find Your Motivation

Tips for Tuesday is a new thing Spunky and I will be starting. We will be doing regular posts weekly now! YAY!!! We will be doing both single and double tips, but you'll have to read to find out when! :D

Find Your Motivation is a tip because without motivation none of us would start to help ourselves!

Please take a minute and think about your motivation...

What is it?

I have many things that motivate me, but the one that got me started was my (future) children. I knew I needed to change something and I wanted to be a good example of health and fitness, but it wasn't until I found out I was pregnant with LW that I REALLY started changing my ways. Once LW was born I felt like he was watching me/is watching me on a daily basis and I know he is learning by example. What kid doesn't? Everything I put in my mouth, he sees. Every movement I make, he watches. If I can show him now that working out and eating healthy is a good thing, it will have that much more of an impact on his future.

The second one that comes to mind is the Hubs. What woman in her right mind doesn't want to look and feel  absolutely fan-freaking-tastic in front of her husband? What woman (in her right mind) doesn't want her husband to look at her and be speachless? With or without clothing! (yup, I went there) What woman doesn't like hearing their gorgeous, beautiful, sexy, pretty, etc. from their husband? And what woman doesn't want her husband to not be able to keep his hands off her? I love it when my husband does all those things! And I've noticed as I've been getting in better shape that all of those things have become better and more frequent. And the Hubs is a tall, naturally skinny guy... When I see pictures of me and my heaviest standing next to him... I want to cry. That's why my goal that I'm SUPER excited for right now is to weigh less then him, and I'm so close!!!

The third reason that comes to mind, is for me. I feel better when I eat right and workout. I'm happier. I'm an  endorphin addict now thanks to running. I'm able to better focus on my day. I know I'm working toward my overall goal of 120 lbs. I want to look in the mirror and SMILE when I see myself. Not judge every little thing, like every girl does.... come on... don't lie. We've all done it. More then once. I want to look in the mirror and think... DANG look at those guns! My abs are sexy! Man I love my legs and butt! (Can you tell what areas bother me? haha.

Find your motivation and get moving! You can do it!

Feel free to comment below about your motivation, what is yours?

  1. My motivation is family! I want to live as long as possible and spend as much time with them as possible. AND to be confident!

  2. Hi Spicy! My motivation was my kids! I kept telling myself, "It's for the kids!" I struggled to find time for my work-outs until I realized that I would be healthier and able to enjoy my kids more AND they (hopefully) won't have to take care of me because I tried to take care of myself. Things happen so who knows - but at least if they end up taking care of me, it won't be because I didn't try! I want to stay healthy to enjoy my grown children and run with fast LW!!! Love you!
